There isn't really a set of reels per se, but there is a game area. This is set up as a sort of inverted pyramid with rows containing 3, 4, 5, and 6 positions, respectively. The design of this slot is kept simple - it looks like Push Gaming used up all their time and effort coming up with the original gameplay! The board is set on a plain red background with the background noise of chatter and piano, making it sound as if it's taking place in a speakeasy.  

There isn’t the usual line-up of pay symbols in Generous Jack; instead, you’ll find either blanks or poker chips numbered x0 to x9.  

Before you play, you'll need to decide how many rows of the board you want to activate. The more reels you bring into play, the better your chances of winning - but the higher the stake will be. The full board will spin no matter what you choose, so you'll be able to see what you could have won! 

There aren't any paylines or ways to win. Generous Jack uses a "Win What You See", which means that you'll receive a corresponding prize for every number that you see on the board. If two numbers land next to each other on the same row without a blank blocker tile in between, they'll be read as a single number; for example, 5 and 1 would be read as 51.  

Of course, only numbers that land within your selected game area will count, so think carefully about how much you want to activate on each spin!

The base gameplay is fascinating enough, but gold jack symbols add some extra interest. A meter to the left of the board collects gold jacks whenever they land; collect three or more and you'll unlock the free spins bonus round.
