The first thing you'll notice is that every time you land a win, the avalanche feature is triggered. This means the winning symbols are removed from the board while new symbols tumble into position. When this happens, an extra row is added to the reels, until the board reaches its maximum height of eight rows. With each additional row, the ways to win increases, climbing up to a possible 262,144 ways to win.  

Avalanches will keep repeating while new wins are being formed. However, when there are no new wins, the avalanches will stop, and the board will revert to its original size.  

During regular play, Big Symbols may also land. Any of the symbols can land in this way, with 2x2, 3x3 or even 4x4 possible. If there are any empty spaces below the Big Symbols, they will automatically be filled by the same symbol.  

Some symbols may land with a golden frame. When this happens, any spaces above will be filled with expanding wilds.  

Mystery boxes are also included on the board. They act as blocker tiles unless there are five in view, and then they'll open to reveal either a wild, a symbol or an Avalon feature which includes coins, multipliers, a re-drop, collect, or an increase in the coins' value.
