These characters are known as Maggie, Sandra, and Sam, with their symbols awarding players with up to 25x, 50x, or 500x their stake size, should a matching combination of five appear. Only two premium symbols are required to create a combination, with other icons needing at least three. Last but not least is the golden book, acting as both the wild and scatter symbol in Book of Sam.

The name of the first bonus feature in Book of Sam is 'Electric Treats', which are spin modifiers that activate during the base game or bonus mode. Each of the three trolls mentioned earlier has their own 'Electric Treat' that will trigger should their symbols form a matching combination of 2 or more. First up is Sam's modifier, which will award players with respins. Throughout each spin, any books present will be held in place. Should this happen in the bonus mode, the book will become an expanded wild icon.

Sandra's modifier will award respins with a multiplier that will be applied to any potential winnings throughout the round. Finally, there is Maggie's 'Electric Treat'. Should this activate, the least desirable symbols, cats and Maggie symbols will be removed from the board, with expanding icons being the only exception. Additional symbols will then be added to fill the empty space below.

Of course, it wouldn't be a 'Book Of' slot without a free spins mode that features expanding symbols. This will be triggered should 3, 4, or 5 scatter icons appear, awarding players with 1, 2, or 3 expanding symbols, respectively.
