The Gigablox game board is capable of expanding as you play, increasing up to a potential 6x8. There are 40 traditional paylines initially and a betting range of 0.20 to 100.00, giving pretty decent coverage for all betting budgets. Volatility is high, so you can expect to wait a while, but you could collect a higher prize. 

Peter & Sons have a very distinctive cartoon style that is simultaneously fun yet sophisticated. Their beautiful designs have transferred perfectly to this slot, with the 3D effects taking their visuals to a new level. You'll be entirely immersed in the fantasy world with the rolling hills in the background contrasting with the array of monsters on the reels and the magical wizard waving his wand in protection.  

You won't need any incantations for the low pays, which are made up of the four playing card suits. The premium symbols start to get interesting with a dragon, the Green Man and two other monsters making an appearance. 

The wizard standing next to the reels isn’t just a passive decoration; he’s there to help you out. He will randomly transform symbols on the reels into wilds, helping you to line up more matches.  

However, it's the core Gigablox mechanism that is the show's real star. Not all of the symbols will be the same size, and every time you land a winning line, an extra line will be added to the grid, and you'll get a respin. The board can increase up to a whopping 6x8, giving enormous potential to line up more wins. For every line, the board grows by, the paylines increase: 55, 70, 80 and 100. Once the respins have finished, the reels will reset to their original size and number of paylines. 

There are also scatters in Monster Box Gigablox, but you'll need at least five to trigger the free spins round. Every scatter will grant you one free spin, so the more you land, the more you'll receive. During the free spins bonus, if you land scatters, they'll be collected in a meter by the reels. This can award you ever increasing multipliers, with up to x10 available to win.

Monster Box Gigablox is a delightful game from Peter & Sons/Yggdrasil, which will tempt players with a stunning design and fun theme. And this continues throughout the gameplay with fun animations to liven things up.  

It would be fair to say that this isn't a slot that is crammed full of different bonuses; even the free spins round can be relatively challenging to trigger. However, while that might be a problem in other games, the presence of the Gigablox mechanism almost makes you forget about the other features. There's a lot going on with the different sized tiles and the reels, which are constantly expanding.
