Monster Superlanche

Pragmatic Play has revealed the full terror of the subterranean world in the Monster Superlanche slot. In fairness, the monsters are more accurately described as blobby and cartoonish than horrifying, and even better, they’re offering the chance to collect a cash prize of up to x5000. 

Colourful, gelatinous monsters aren't anything new in the world of slots. Regular players may get a sense of deja vu as although this latest title from Pragmatic Play is set under the world; it bears a striking resemblance to the aliens in Reactoonz - and also Space Miners and Cosmic Cash too! Still, there's always room for more blobby beasties, right? 

The gameplay is set on a large 6x5 grid and uses a scatter pays system. This means there are no paylines and no ways to win; all you need to do is land between 8 and 30 matching symbols anywhere on the board. The betting range is broad, starting at 0.20 and increases up to a maximum of 125.00. Volatility is high, so although it may sound easy to land a win, you may be hanging out underground for longer than you expected!

You'll quickly realise you're below ground by taking a look at the surroundings. The reels are full of brightly coloured monsters, but the backdrop is dismal. Gloomy tunnels and caves place you a long way from civilisation without another soul to be seen - so let's hope these monsters are friendly! 

As a scatters pays mechanic, there are none of the usual playing card royals to dampen down the theme. Instead, you'll find a full paytable of monsters in different shapes and sizes waiting to line up for some action.  

Unlike most other slots, there are non-wilds in Monster Superlanche to help players out. 

There is a tumble feature included in this slot, but it's the exact opposite of how it usually works. Rather than the winning symbols vanishing, these are the only ones that remain on the board! All of the other symbols disappear, with the winning symbols sinking to the bottom of the reels. The spaces are then filled by new symbols which drop from above. If more of the same type of symbol land, they'll also stay on the reels, and the tumble will repeat. The prize is only calculated once all the tumbles have finished. 

You might have spotted that each reel has a multiplier displayed at the top of the screen. These are random values and can change on every spin. If a reel is filled with winning symbols, the multiplier will apply to the payout. The multipliers start at x2 and can climb right up to x100.  

Although all of the symbols are technically scatters, there are also dedicated scatters included too. And if you land four or more of the scatters, you’ll trigger the free spins bonus round. Between eight and 20 free spins will be awarded, depending on the number of scatters that land.
