Rise of Atlantis

For those that aren't familiar with Atlantis, it's a mythical island that, supposedly, was submerged deep into the ocean one day, in order to punish the population for immoral acts. It makes sense then, that the Rise of Atlantis slot is set underwater, with Poseidon also making an appearance on the left of the board. This title comes with a total of 6 reels that are 5 rows in height, and the minimum stake size is a fairly standard 0.20 per spin.

Rise of Atlantis was created by Blueprint Gaming, a UK-based provider that is part of the established Gauselmann Group. In the past, they have released a variety of leading titles, including the likes of Eye of Horus Fortune Play, Diego Wild, and Ted Cash & Lock. Blueprint Gaming also created the 'Jackpot King' series of games, all of which have the potential to award the main, progressive jackpot. 

Before touching on the different symbols in this slot, it's important to mention that there are no fixed paylines. A minimum of 8 identical icons need to land anywhere in view to be considered as a matching combination.  The least desirable symbols in Rise of Atlantis revolve around the different gemstones. A blue diamond, green diamond, red heart, and a purple hexagon can all be found in this release, awarding players with up to 8x their stake size. Premium icons consist of a pillar, a cracked vase, a trident, and a crown. Should 12 or more of these appear on the board, players can be awarded with 10x, 12x, 15x, and 25x their bet, respectively.  

Special symbols in Rise of Atlantis include a wild, shown as Poseidon himself. Like in other titles, these can substitute for any other symbol in view and can be a part of more than one combination. For example, if 7 red hearts and 7 pillar symbols appear, the wild can substitute for both. Last but not least is the scatter symbol, displayed as a golden trident, which can be responsible for triggering the main bonus mode. 

The first bonus mechanic in this title is the 'Rising Multiplier' feature, which can trigger randomly on any spin. Poseidon will wave his trident in order to summon multiplier bubbles that will float over other icons. Each bubble will have a multiplier of up to 500x, and if the corresponding symbol is used as part of a combination, the value will be applied at the end of the sequence.   

After this, the symbols will cascade, and all bubbles will move up one position. If more than one bubble is part of a combination, the multipliers will be added together before being applied to the potential winnings. When no more combinations can form, the bubbles will then be removed from the board before the next spin commences.  

Landing four scatter icons during the same spin will activate the main bonus mode in Rise of Atlantis. Players will receive a total of 15 free spins. However, the features in this round are very similar to the base game. The only real difference is that the multipliers associated with each bubble will increase when they move up by one position.  

One of the standout features of the Rise of Atlantis is that fixed paylines do not exist. Instead, eight or more of the same symbols need to appear anywhere in view. Random multipliers can be added at any time, with these increasing over time during the bonus mode!
