As the name suggests, this slot follows a crew of detectives as they attempt to find clues in order to piece together evidence for a variety of cases. A red Ford Gran Torino is also prominent in this release, making reference to the popular Starsky and Hutch show, which aired in 1975. A majority of this slot follows the retro theme, with the interface being based on a traditional slot machine. The symbols in Super Detectives fit the traditional arcade theme. In order of desirability, there are oranges, plums, lemons, strawberries, and bells, which can award players with up to 15x their stake size for a matching combination of 3. There is also a green, red, and blue diamond. These can award 3x for a combination of any, or 50x, 250x, and 1,000x for 3 of the same colour, respectively.  

Super Detectives is also loaded with special symbols, the first of which is a wild symbol, shown as a pair of palm trees. This wild icon can replace any standard or premium symbols along a payline. There are a variety of scatter icons, too, all of which can trigger different bonus modes. These include a pinball machine, a doughnut, a car, and finally, a Ferris wheel. 

Although the Super Detectives slot looks like a retro slot machine, it comes with a huge host of bonus features. The first is true to the theme, with the ability to nudge and hold, just like many physical machines offer. Players can tactically nudge or click the 'auto' button, which creates combinations, should one be possible. There is also the option to gamble potential winnings or collect them.  

Now, there are a total of 4 different bonus games in Super Detectives, each having its own associated symbol. Landing three pinball table symbols will trigger a Plinko-style mode, with different potential winnings being awarded, depending on where the ball lands. Should three doughnut icons appear simultaneously, players will be taken to a police station, before a raffle feature begins. Different characters will have different fixed values before one is chosen at random. The corresponding value will then be awarded.  

Three car symbols will activate a mode known as 'Add Prize'. At random, players will make a selection between different characters, which again all have a corresponding fixed value. Finally, 3 Ferris wheel icons will trigger a roulette-style game. The wheel contains sections that have different multiples of the current stake size. It will then spin to award one of the 12 different outcomes! 

Super Detectives offers a nice mix of traditional and modern features. There is a total of four different bonus modes, alongside the potential to hold and nudge specific reels. This slot also has a traditional feel to it, with animated buttons and a total of 3 reels!
