The layout of this game is slightly different from the norm with a 6x5 board and scatter pays. This means players aren't looking for traditional paylines, or even clusters. Instead, players simply need to land eight or more of any symbol, anywhere on the board. Betting works the same way as usual, with a total min stake of 0.20 and a max bet of 30.00. Volatility is very high, with an RTP of 94.80%, which is slightly below the average.

The setting for Volatile Vikings 2 is a well-equipped Viking ship, with tables, tankards, candles and snacks all visible. All of the symbols on the board are similar, with a series of coloured runes. The more runes you land, the bigger the prize will be. The red rune is the most valuable, and landing 12 will deliver a prize of x50.

The reels include a cascade feature which means that whenever there's a win, the winning symbols are removed from the board in an explosion. New symbols drop onto the board, and this provides the potential for more wins to be formed.

On every spin, Multiplier Reveal symbols start on reels 3 and 4. Each Multiplier Reveal symbol has two different numbers: a multiplier and a counter. The counter decreases by -1 every time there's a cascade on the reels. When it reaches zero, the multiplier is activated. At the same time, all adjacent symbols are obliterated, allowing more symbols to drop, one of which will be a fresh Multiplier Reveal. Once the round is finished, all of the activated multipliers are added together and applied to the win total.
