With Wild Link Cleopatra, the action takes place on a 5x3 grid which is set up with ways to win. This means that players have to match up identical symbols from left to right on adjacent reels without being concerned about the precise tile position. This delivers 243 ways to win from the start, but with some of the bonus features, this can increase to 117,147 ways to win. Betting is relatively average, from 0.20 to 50.00, which lines up alongside the medium volatility.

There is a wild symbol on the board which can help by substituting for any of the regular pays - but there’s more to this extra, as we’ll look at next. 

As the name of the game suggests, there’s a little more to the wild symbol than just substituting for other symbols. Whenever a sun or a wild symbol land on the first reel, the Wild Link feature is triggered.  

The Wild Link feature adds extra rows on top of reels 2-5, giving the potential for even more payouts and prizes. In the base game, up to three more rows will be added. The Cleopatra symbol is the wild, but the special sun symbol can also trigger the same feature.  

When the sun symbol lands on reel 1, even when Cleopatra is depicted holding the sun, it will collect any sun symbols which appear on the later reels. All of the sun symbols have an instant cash value, and when reel 1 shows the sun, all of the other reels will respin. Rather than displaying a cash value, the sun symbols may display a prize pot award - either Mini, Major or Mega, which are worth x10, x50 and x200, respectively. 

You may also receive a multiplier; the figure of Cleopatra sitting next to the reels may hold a multiplier between her hands which varies from x2 to x5. She will cast this onto the reels, increasing the value of the sun symbols and the prize pot values, which are shown above the board.  

In addition to the Wild Link feature, there are also pyramid scatters. Land three or more, and you'll unlock the free spins round. You'll receive 10-50 free spins, depending on how many scatters you landed, and a 6th reel will be added to the board. This sixth reel will only contain sun symbols, making it potentially very lucrative if you trigger the Wild Link feature. Wild Link plays out the same way during the bonus round, except that the maximum number of extra rows increases to six.
