Atlantis: Cash Collect

The Cash Collect series of games have proven to be rather popular in the past, with this release revolving around Greek Mythology. As the name suggests, the Atlantis Cash Collect slot is set on an ancient island, before it was sunk by the gods. Various homes and structures can be seen behind the board, alongside a handful of picturesque mountains. Atlantis Cash Collect comes with 5 reels, a total of 20 fixed paylines, and a minimum stake size of 0.20 per spin. 

This slot was created by Playtech, with this company also being responsible for the Cash Collect mechanic. Of course, they have also produced a handful of other games, including Kingdoms Rise: Battle Beast, Sorcerer's Guild of Magic, and Absolutely Mammoth. Let's start this section by touching on the least desirable symbols in Atlantis Cash Collect, which are the regular 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A icons. These are followed by the premium symbols, shown as a shell, a talisman necklace, a crown, and Poseidon. Should five of the aforementioned icons form a matching combination, players can be awarded with 200x, 300x, 400x, or 500x their bet per line, respectively. 

A selection of special icons can also be found in this title, most of which are linked to the Cash Collect feature. Of course, there is the 'Cash Collect' symbol itself, with fixed value coins and diamonds also being present on the reels. Wild icons are shown as tridents and like with other slots online, these can replace standard or premium symbols as part of a combination. Last but not least, there is also a mystery symbol that becomes active during the free spins bonus mode, as covered below. 

The first bonus feature in this title is the 'Cash Collect' mechanic, which can trigger during any spin. Should a 'Cash Collect' symbol land on reel 5, any fixed value coins will be tallied up and awarded to the player. That's not all though, as if a diamond is collected, one of the four different jackpots to the left of the board will be awarded.  

In total, there is a Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand jackpot, with values sitting at 20x, 50x, 100x, and 1,000x the stake size, in that order. After the diamond has been collected, it will begin to spin on its own, alternating between the four different jackpots. It will then land on one at random before the corresponding value is awarded to the player. 

Atlantis Cash Collect also has a free spins bonus mode that can be triggered if one or more coin symbols appear on 3 or 4 reels simultaneously. These coins will then be added up, with the total becoming the 'reset value' for the round. Now, if additional fixed value icons or jackpot symbols land at any point during the bonus, they will be added to the value found above the reels. This starts at the 'Reset Value' and can increase progressively throughout the round. 

The 'Cash Collect' icon is also replaced with a question mark for the rest of the round, which can reveal one of three other symbols. First is the regular 'Cash Collect' icon, which will award players with the value located on top of the reels. Option number two is shown as the word 'Reset', meaning that this value is reduced to the original 'Reset Value'. Finally, there is an 'End' symbol, which will conclude the bonus immediately. 

It's possible for jackpots to land during this bonus mode and if they do, they will reveal one of the four different variations, before the corresponding value is added to the potential winnings for the round. There is no limit to the number of free spins that players can be awarded, either! 

While online slots in the Cash Collect series have a lot to live up to, this title ticks all of the right boxes. The visual components are incredibly easy on the eye. However, it's the range of bonus features that takes centre stage!
