If you were missing ELK Studios' famous duo of Toro and Matador, there's good news! The Buffalo Toro slot reunites the duo with more action on the reels in yet another slot machine in the series. As always, there are some great prizes to be won, too, with a top potential payout of x50,000.

Wild Toro was released in 2016 and was an enormous hit for ELK Studios. Set in Spain with Toro the bull and Matador, ELK decided to release an anniversary World Tour Series in 2021. This included three new Toro titles: Wild Toro II, Book of Toro, and Toro 7's, a three-reeler classic. Toro and Matador have travelled a long distance from their native Spanish home as they’ll find the gameplay set in the wilds of North America. With craggy rock faces, a dusty landscape, and the local wildlife to contend with, this slot offers a very different atmosphere.  

Things start off gently enough with playing card royals as the low pays. The high pays introduce the North American fauna with cougars, wolves, bulls, eagles and bears.  

Very fittingly for a game set in the isolated plains of North America, there are a few different wilds on the reels. The basic wild simply substitutes for the regular pays to help create matches. However, there are also multiplier wilds that offer a boost of x2 or x3 if they're used in a win.

There is also a third wild, and this is Toro. He is a Walking Wild, and after he lands, he'll stay on the grid but move one position to the left with each turn until he falls off. Toro will also give players a respin for every move that he makes.  

Toro and Matador may accompany each other everywhere, but they're not exactly the best of friends. If Toro and Matador are on the reels together at any point, the Toro Goes Wild bonus is triggered. This will see Toro charging to the Matador's position, leaving a trail of regular wilds in his wake.  

Matador is a blocker symbol which doesn't have any value, but if two land, they'll become sticky, and you'll receive a respin. If a further Matador lands on the respin, you'll receive another respin - and so on!
