Wild West Duels

The Wild West is perhaps a location that players have already become accustomed to. With many slots being set in such a place, it's hard to stand out from the crowd. However, this release attempts to do exactly that by incorporating a total of three different bonus modes. The Wild West Duels slot is found in the middle of a seemingly deserted town, with animated sand and tumbleweed being blown into view. As for the board, it features 5 reels and 15 paylines, all of which can be covered with a minimum stake size of 0.20 per spin. 

This slot was created by Pragmatic Play, a company that has created a vast array of popular titles in the past. Some of these include the Book of Golden Sands, Sugar Rush, and Down the Rails. Their releases tend to have interesting bonus features and modern graphics, with Wild West Duels ticking both of these boxes. 

The least desirable symbols in this title include a wanted poster, a bandana, a hip flask, a pair of boots, and a hat. Next up are the premiums, all represented by cowboys with different coloured backgrounds. In order, these colours are turquoise, orange, pink, green, and blue, which can award players with up to 5x, 5x, 10x, 10x, or 20x their stake size, respectively. 

Now for the special symbols, the first of which is a wild. This icon is shown as a bag of golden coins and comes with the ability to replace any standard or premium symbol along a payline. Wild West Duels also has three different bonus modes, all of which have their own associated scatter icon. These are shown as two glasses of beer, two pistols, and two shovels. 

The first bonus mode in Wild West Duels can trigger if three different 'Beer Game' scatter symbols appear simultaneously. Players will start this round with ten free spins, with a new wild icon being thrown into this mix. This wild appears as a beer mug and comes with a 2x or 3x multiplier attached to it, which will be applied to any combinations that include it. Should more than one wild be used in a combination, the multipliers will be added before they're applied. These wilds are also sticky and will remain in place until all free spins have been used. 

Landing three pistol scatter symbols will activate the 'Duel' bonus mode. Again, ten free spins will be awarded, with the potential for expanding wilds to appear on the reels. Should this happen, there will be two potential multipliers associated with the wild, each of which will be represented by a cowboy. The two will then duel to decide on the value of the multiplier for the spin. If more than one expanding wild is used as part of a combination, the multipliers will be added together before being applied.  

Finally, there is the 'Lost Relic' feature, which can be triggered if three shovel scatter symbols appear during the same spin. Players will be taken to a board full of shovels before they are prompted to select nine. Behind each shovel will either be a multiplier, or a number of wild icons, which will accumulate on either side of the board. After nine shovels have been selected, three spins will begin to play. The total number of wilds collected earlier will appear in random positions on every spin, and any potential winnings will be subject to the final multiplier value. 

It's worth mentioning that none of the three bonus modes in Wild West Duels can be retriggered. All features can also be purchased by clicking on the 'Buy Free Spins' sign. In order, the 'Beer Game', 'Duel Bonus', and 'Lost Relic' modes sit at 100x, 200x, and 400x the bet size. 

Wild West Duels is loaded with visually appealing symbols, smooth animations, and an assortment of different sound effects. Expanding wild icons can also appear randomly during the base game, a feature that is often reserved exclusively for bonus rounds!
